Group course for anxiety and stress management

unige

Presentation and purpose

This course is designed to offer UniGe students a chance to transform what is experienced as anxiety and stress, hindering the success of their studies, into an opportunity to improve their knowledge of these states and themselves and to be able to reflect on their overall health.
In these meetings, you will be able to reflect together on how to listen to the signs of anxiety and stress, learning how to recognize them and improve their management.

The current rhythms of life, often disconnected from natural rhythms, and some experiences during and after the pandemic, can threaten serenity and mental and physical well-being and may have left after-effects that hinder successful studies.
With this course, it is possible to implement self-knowledge and learn strategies and ways to deal effectively and actively with a difficult time in studies.

The group makes it possible to experience confrontation and diminishes the sense of loneliness and isolation that can sometimes be experienced by many male and female students.
This course is proposed with the intention of providing participants with theoretical knowledge and practical experience to manage anxiety and stress, learn from body listening practices to experience inner awareness and psychophysical tensions, and lay the foundation for improving overall health and the path of college studies.
