Incoming
The University of Genoa offers a wide range of opportunities to international students, who choose to attend a degree course, a PhD or decide to take part in the Erasmus+ programme.
You can also personalise your academic path by choosing single teaching units, or by attending the Italian Language and Culture courses.

International relations
The international academic cooperation is one of University of Genoa's main goal and it aims to create academic, scientific and cultural exchanges.
These activities are managed by the International office and by the International cooperation office, that work together to establish and promote international agreements and Erasmus+ activities.
Research

PhD programs
PhDs are post-graduate courses with limited access and a duration of three years.
To enroll you must apply to a selection procedure. If you are selected, you may be entitled to a scholarship.
In some cases, some places are reserved for non-EU citizens residing abroad.
