State Examination Information Psychologist and Doctor of Psychological Techniques Session I 2026

ATTENTION

  • to take the examination to qualify as a Psychologist (Ministerial Decree no. 554/2022) it is necessary to have completed the post-graduate professional training course lasting 12 months for a total of 1000 hours
  • to take the examination to qualify as a PhD in Psychological Techniques it is necessary to have completed the postgraduate professional training course lasting 6 months for a total of 500 hours.

You can apply for the State examination I session 2026 no later than 12 noon on 24/06/2026. Please read carefully the indications given in the Notice D.D.G. no. 2379/2026.

For the qualification as a Psychologist (Ministerial Decree no. 554/2022) candidates must pass an oral test concerning the activities carried out during their professional training as well as aspects of legislation and professional ethics.

The examinations for qualification as a PhD in Psychological Techniques for the first and second sessions of 2026 will consist of the tests envisaged by Presidential Decree no. 328/2022.P.R. no. 328/2001.

The State Psychologist examination (Ministerial Decree no. 554/2022) 1st session 2026 will begin on 27/07/2026; the State PhDr. in Psychological Techniques examination 1st session 2026 will begin on 31/07/2026.

Each candidate has a matriculation number; this number may be used for certain convocation and/or publication of the results of the examinations.

Information practical evaluation test Psychologist session July 2026

PLEASE NOTE

  • to take the practical assessment test Psychologist (D.I. no. 567/2022) it is necessary to obtain the judgment of suitability of the practical assessment traineeship corresponding to 30 CFU, lasting 750 hours as per art. 2 of D.I. no. 567 of 20 June 2022.

You may submit your application for the Psychologist practical evaluation test (D.I. no. 567/2022) July 2026 session no later than 12 noon on 23/06/2026. Please read carefully the instructions given in Notice D.D.G. no. 861/2026.

The practical assessment test, aimed at qualifying for the profession of Psychologist (D.I. no. 567/2022), consists of passing a single examination covering the activities carried out during the practical-assessment training and the links between theories/models and professional practice, as well as aspects of legislation and professional ethics. 

For the July 2026 session, the practical-assessment examination will begin on 06/07/2026 and will consist of an oral examination to be held in person. The timetable for the further examination days will be determined in July 2026 by the Selection Board and will be published on the web page: https://disfor.unige.it/didattica/post-laurea/esamistato
