The MNESYS Project (CUP D33C22001340002) promotes a scheme based on cascade funding (Cascade funding) to support fundamental research activity not available at the Institutions participating in the EP by fostering integration with other Institutions where there is excellence in the field of "neuroscience" on topics complementary to the research conducted within the individual spokes.

The aim is to reach institutions that are strongly interested in implementing fundamental research projects in the field of "neuroscience" that are original, medium to large in size and low in technological maturity level (TRL).

The budget for this Call for Proposals is 2.350,000.00 € from the PNRR funds allocated to fund the MNESYS Program Code PE000006 under Mission 4, Component 2, Investment 1.3 3 - Creation of "Partnerships extended to universities, research centers, companies for the financing of basic research projects". Question: Does eligible expenditure include unstructured staff, even those recruited specifically for the project? Answer: unstructured personnel (assignees, fellows, doctoral students) are eligible and reportable under "Other types of expenses".
