Genoa Transportation Company - AMT

"AMT offers travel passes for all travel needs: tickets, annual, monthly, weekly passes, concessionary fares. You can buy your ticket at the company's ticket offices, affiliated retailers and the many ticket machines in the area; some tickets and subscriptions can be purchased conveniently online.
The most convenient bus pass for students is as follows:

Annual bus pass under 26 XXL € 200

The under 26 XXL annual bus pass allows you to travel on Genoa's urban network, which includes bus lines, subway, funiculars, elevators, rack railway, on the bus lines of the Genoa provincial network, on Navebus, Volabus, line 782 Santa Margherita Ligure - Portofino, Genoa-Casella railway, and Trenitalia's Genoa urban network (in the sections between the stations of Nervi-Voltri-Vesima; Pontedecimo-Acquasanta); conjunctions with other Trenitalia tickets and/or subscriptions are not allowed.

Other types of subscriptions and tickets

  • Weekly season ticket, at a cost of 22 euros. This season ticket is valid from Monday to Sunday of the week in which it is validated and can be purchased at participating tobacconists, AMT ticket offices and Trenitalia ticket offices.
  • Monthly subscription at a cost of 48 Euro. This season ticket is valid in the month in which it was validated, on the entire urban Amt network and can be purchased at participating tobacconists, at AMT ticket offices
  • Carnet 11 tickets 110 minutes € 20.00 valid on the entire Metropolitan City network.

Tickets for occasional travel within the territory of the City of Genoa are:

  • Ordinary ticket valid for 110 minutes at a cost of € 2.00 valid on the entire Metropolitan City network
  • Integrated AMT -Trenitalia 110-minute ticket € 2.20 valid on the entire Metropolitan City network + Trenitalia within Genoa's urban area (from Nervi to Voltri from Acquasanta to Pontedecimo)
  • Ordinary 5-hour ticket € 5.00 valid on the entire Metropolitan City network

Tourist tickets:

  • 24-hour ticket € 10.00 valid on the entire Metropolitan City network
  • 24-hour 4-person ticket € 30.00 valid on the entire Metropolitan City network
  • One-way ticket line 782 Santa Margherita Ligure - Portofino €.5
