Free or reduced annual subscription

UniGe offers its new freshmen important concessions for the purchase of the CityPass AMT season ticket: new UniGe members and new enrollees with ISEE-U less than 13.000 euros can apply free for the AMT annual subscription (against a contribution of 10 euros for secretarial fees), while those with an ISEE-U of 13.000 euros (or who have not submitted any ISEE-U to the university) the cost is 100 euros.

The recipients of the facilitation are students regularly enrolled at the University of Genoa, a.a. 2025/26, for the first time and for the first year (at first "contact" with UniGe) on a course of:

• three-year degree
• single-cycle master's and master's degree
• dottorato
• scuola di specializzazione (iscrizione a.a. 2024/25 only for the medical area)
• master

How to do it?

• access with your UniGe Pass credentials to the UniGe online services; in the "Utilities" section follow the directions to apply for an AMT subscription
• choose the effective date so as not to overlap with any subscriptions already active; you can also choose as your start date the day after the expiry date of any annual subscription you have already purchased, as long as you do so while you are a 2025/26 freshman, i.e. until June 2026 (in July 2026 the a. a. 2026/27 will begin and you will be in charge of the a. a. 2026/27).a. 2026/27 will begin and you will no longer be a freshman)

WARNING it is not sufficient to present the ISEE-U self-certification: the income data must be included in your career, following acquisition by INPS. For the presentation of the ISEE-U self-certification, please refer to the appropriate service. If you apply for the AMT season ticket before the ISEE-U value has been acquired by the University, you will no longer be able to take advantage of the free of charge + €10 secretarial fee option.

Where, how and when can I use the CityPass AMT?

With the AMT CityPass you can make an unlimited number of journeys, for 365 days starting from the first day of validity, on the entire network managed by AMT, i.e. on the entire urban, non-railway network of Genoa (which includes bus lines, underground, funiculars, lifts, rack railway), on the entire provincial bus network (including the 782 Santa Margherita Ligure - Portofino line), on Navebus, Volabus and the Genoa-Casella railway.
