Free or reduced AMT subscription

UniGe offers its new freshmen important concessions for the purchase of the CityPass AMT season ticket: new UniGe enrollees and new entrants with ISEE-U below 13.000 euro can apply free for the annual AMT season ticket (against a contribution of 10 euro for secretarial fees), while for those with an ISEE-U of over 13,000 euro (or who have not submitted any ISEE-U to the university) the cost is 100 euro.

The recipients of the facilitation are students regularly enrolled at the University of Genoa, a.a. 2025/26, for the first time and for the first year (at the first "contact" with UniGe) on a course of:

• three-year degree
• master's degree and single-cycle master's degree
• PhDoctorate
• specialisation school (enrolment a.a. 2024/25 only for the medical area)
• masters courses

How to do it?

• access with your UniGe Pass credentials to the UniGe online services; in the "Utilities" section, follow the instructions for requesting an AMT subscription
• choose the effective date so as not to overlap with any subscriptions that are already active. You can also choose the day after the expiry date of any annual subscription you have already purchased as the start date, provided you do so while you are a 2025/26 freshman, i.e. until June 2026 (in July 2026, the 2026/27 academic year will begin and you will no longer be a freshman).

WARNING it is not sufficient to submit the ISEE-U self-certification: the income data must be included in your career, following acquisition from INPS. For the presentation of the ISEE-U self-certification, please refer to the appropriate service. If you apply for the AMT season ticket before the ISEE-U value has been acquired by the University, you will no longer be able to take advantage of the free of charge + €10 secretarial fee option.

Where, how and when can I use the CityPass AMT?

With the AMT CityPass you can make an unlimited number of journeys, for 365 days starting from the first day of validity, on the entire network managed by AMT, i.e. on the entire urban, non-railway network of Genoa (which includes bus lines, underground, funiculars, lifts, rack railway), on the entire provincial bus network (including the 782 Santa Margherita Ligure - Portofino line), on Navebus, Volabus and the Genoa-Casella railway.
