The Schools of Specialisation in the Health Care Area are a post-graduate professional training course that aims to provide knowledge and skills for the performance of highly qualified functions, required for the exercise of particular professional activities in the health care field. Specialisation Schools belong to the 3rd cycle of university studies; they can be accessed with a Master's Degree, a Specialist Degree or a Degree obtained according to the previous regulations. The didactic regulations of each school establish the duration of the course of study, admission requirements, training activities and educational objectives. At the end of the course, a specialisation diploma is awarded.
