The Erasmus+ EUniverciné project involving the University of Genoa, together with the universities of Nantes (lead partner), Innsbruck, Banja Luka, Perugia Stranieri and Roma La Sapienza has

been concluded.

The two-year project involved 3 students per year from each university, who participated in training on Italian cinema, subtitling and the evaluation of cinematographic works as part of the jury of the Festival Univerciné of Nantes.

The Genoese unit, composed of Anna Giaufret and Elisa Bricco (DLCM), Luisa Stagi (DAFIST) and Sebastiano Benasso (DISFOR), dealt with the French subtitling of Italian films in competition and the analysis of young Italian cinema from a sociological perspective.
