The Great Council Hall of the Ducal Palace is hosting the opening event of the 2023-24 academic year for the University of Genoa's courses dedicated to people over 45.

After the greetings of Francesco Surdich, president of UniGe Senior, and Fabrizio Benente, pro-rector for the third mission, a lectio magistralis by art historian Anna Orlando is scheduled, entitled "Artemisia Gentileschi and the audacity of painting," exploring the contents of the exhibition of the same name set up at the Ducal Palace until April 1, 2024.
