A prison closed and abandoned for years seems to be less hostile. Its repelling essence turns into bitter charm in this graphic novel that recounts the life of the Santo Stefano prison, built on an inaccessible island.

The author dialogues with Renzo Repetti, delegate of the University of Genoa Penitentiary Pole, and Licia Vanni, legal-pedagogical officer of the La Spezia prison facility.
