By means of 3D printing, numerical simulations and artificial intelligence, a team from the University of Genoa, led by Flavia Libonati, has designed new bioinspired materials with performance that outperforms conventional materials by 250%.

They have been able to develop new materials that are more than 250% more efficient than conventional materials.
