Italian Coding League 2021 is an online competition organized by Associazione Festival della Scienza, the Department of Computer Science, Bioengineering, Robotics, and Systems Engineering (DIBRIS) of Università di Genova and Edutainment Formula, with the purpose of introducing students aged between 11 and 13 years old to the art of programming.

The championship will take place on the multiplayer platform Smart O.C.A. (Online Challenge Activity) developed by Edutainment Formula in collaboration with UniGe.

The classes have to compete in a series of challenges where they have to solve coding quizzes in the shortest possible time. Each class has to participate as a single team collaborating internally using tools used for distance learning, such as video conferencing and online surveys.
