University of Genoa and ESN Association GEG Genova - ETS welcomed more than 200 exchange students to Genoa who will be taking classes in all departments of the University in the coming months.

The participants come from all over the world: Spain, France, Portugal but also South and Central America thanks to the CINDA project.

The event, sponsored by Genoa City Council, Liguria Region and Genoa Chamber of Commerce, opened with the distribution of welcome kits. This was followed by the welcome conference with:

• Fulvio Mastrogiovanni, UniGe pro-rector for internationalization
• Simona Ferro, Liguria regional councilor for schools and universities
• Marta Brusoni, city of Genoa councilor for education policies
• Arianna Pagano, CUS Genoa
• Gaia Tamasi, vice president of ESN Italy
• Gianluca Fiorenza, president of ESN GEG Genova - ETS
