The Ipazia Award for Excellence in Women 2021, special international edition dedicated to Women in Afghanistan, will be awarded to the Afghan film director Sahraa Karimi.

The award ceremony, organized as part of the XVII edition of the Festival of Excellence in Women, Next Generation Women, will include a round table presentation of the award winner with insights on the situation in Afghanistan, followed by Sahraa Karimi will introduce the screening of her film Hava, Maryam, Ayesha.
