The University of Genoa has been awarded one of the 19 projects co-financed by the European Commission and, thanks to the CLOE programme, will train 15 PhD students from all over Europe on the themes of mountain development and conservation, starting from historical, environmental and legal perspectives, to help tackle the problem of abandonment.

The programme is coordinated by Marco Invernizzi and Anna Maria Stagno.
