Documents to be submitted with your application:

• (mandatory) Passaport; 
• (mandatory) Photo; 
• (mandatory) Degree obtained or being awarded (in this case you will have to submit the letter from your institution with the expected date) i.e. the diploma (if you want to enroll in a Bachelor’s degree course) or the Bachelor’s Degree (if you want to enroll in a Master’s Degree); 
• (mandatory if you apply for a Master’s degree) Transcript of records, that is the list of exams taken with indication on credits and votes;
• (optional) Document of knowledge of the Italian or English language (depending on the chosen course, if taught in Italian or English you can attach the certificate consistent with your choice) or letter certifying that the medium of instruction (MOI) was English or Italian. The certificate must be one of those recognized by Unige, otherwise it will not be considered valid. If in possession, it is strongly recommended to upload the document.
• Attention: please note that for courses in Italian, if you do not present a recognized certificate of knowledge of the Italian language and do not pass the Italian language test (in presence, after arrival in Italy), you will not be able to enroll in the course.
• Official translation of documents: mandatory if the original documents are not in Italian, English, French, Spanish or Portuguese.
• (optional) Declaration of Value (DOV), or certificate of comparability issued by CIMEA - Centro Informazioni Mobilità Equivalenze Accademiche or Diploma Supplement. If you already have one, we recommend that you also attach one of the three documents to your application on Universitaly. The absence of such a document, at this level, will not affect the forwarding of your application to the embassy. The application will also be validated by Unige.

  Always remember that you can contact the Italian Embassy or Consulate in your country of residence for the translation and legalization of your qualification and for the issuance of the Declaration of Value (DOV).
