Il bando Young Researchers del MUR – Ministero dell’Università e della Ricerca è una misura straordinaria di finanziamento che si inserisce nel quadro dell’attuazione del PNRR – Piano Nazionale di Ripresa e Resilienza, Missione 4 “Istruzione e Ricerca” - Componente 2 “Dalla Ricerca all'Impresa” - Investimento 1.2 “Finanziamento di progetti presentati da giovani ricercatori”.I finanziamenti sono indirizzati a giovani ricercatori appartenenti ad una delle seguenti tipologie:SOE, per coloro che abbiano ottenuto un Seal of Excellence a seguito della partecipazione a bandi relativi alle Azioni Individuali MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships del programma Horizon EuropeMSCA, per i vincitori di bandi relativi alle Azioni Individuali Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Individual Fellowship nell’ambito del Programma quadro Horizon 2020, comprese le Standard European Fellowships ed i Reintegration Panel, e Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowship nell’ambito del Programma quadro Horizon Europe;Post- Doc, l'assunzione di giovani ricercatori internazionali che abbiano concluso il percorso dottorale avendo svolto un periodo di formazione e ricerca all'estero di almeno 3 mesi, attraverso il finanziamento di contratti di ricerca.
