Each student may enrol simultaneously in a maximum of two courses. Dual enrolment may involve both courses from the same university and courses from different universities or AFAM institutions, including foreign ones.

It is possible to enrol in:

  • two different degree courses, as long as the courses belong to different degree and degree classes and differ in at least two-thirds of their educational activities and one of the two is not compulsory (compulsory attendance is not taken into account if attendance is limited to laboratory and internship activities only);
  • a bachelor's or master's degree course and a master's degree course (provided that they are not both subject to compulsory attendance), a PhD or specialisation course, with the exception of medical specialisation courses;
  • a PhD or master's degree course and a non-medical specialisation course;
  • a PhD or master's degree course and a medical specialisation course, in compliance with the conditions laid down by the University regulations regarding the simultaneous attendance of PhD courses and medical specialisation schools (pursuant to art. 7 of Ministerial Decree 226/2021);
  • two master's degree courses, as long as they are not the same master's degree.
