First-year enrolled students will receive the Carta Ateneo+ university badge, created in collaboration with the cashier bank, Banca Popolare di Sondrio, directly to the Italian address that they indicated in the online pre-enrolment application.

WARNING: to check/modify your residence/address data (once the enrolment has been finalised) access the online service for students Profile

Procedure for sending badges to Italian students with an Italian delivery address:

  1. it is issued by Banca Popolare di Sondrio starting in November and is sent to the Italian address provided
  2. a notice will be sent to the student e-mail address "matricola@studenti.unige.it" of notice of dispatch by  ordinary mail through the Poste Spa service
  3. the estimated delivery time is approximately 20/25 working days from receipt of the notice

Procedure for sending badges for international students, even if temporarily resident in Italy:

  1. Banca Popolare di Sondrio
  2. issues a notice to students matricola@studenti.unige.it advising that the badge is ready  for collection at the Welcome office - international students and users by the methods that will be highlighted on this page.

Carta Ateneo+ badge activation

We would like to remind you that the "Carta Ateneo+" will serve as a means of student recognition within our premises and will allow students to take advantage of the services provided by the University.
To confirm receipt of the badge and activate it, you must access the ateneopiù online student service and enter the PIN indicated in the "Ateneo+ Card" transmission letter.
The "Ateneo+ Card" can also be activated financially as a current account or payment card directly online from the same online service.
 

WARNING: For students who have indicated a foreign address there is NO online procedure for activating the badge, it will be done at the time of delivery.

For bank activation of the card (optional)

You must have your badge, a copy of your identity document and your tax code: PDF document or image/photograph.
The procedure will also guide you through the recognition, identity verification phase necessary for remote activation.
