Service center for western Liguria CENVIS

Purpose

Management of complex services and equipment and to the promotion of activities of general interest of the University at:

  • the Imperia University Campus
  • the Savona University Campus
  • the Hanbury GBH Botanical Gardens.

Aims:

  • the promotion and support for educational activities of the University and the regional educational system at the Savona and Imperia Campuses and at the Hanbury Botanical Gardens
  • the support for research activities carried out at the national and international level at the Savona and Imperia Campuses and-in adherence to the lines identified by the regional law and the agreement entered into with the Liguria region for the management of the 'Hanbury Botanical Gardens' Protected Area-at the GBH
  • the protection, promotion, management and enhancement of the environmental heritage - namely that of botanical - landscape and scientific interest, pursuant to the agreement entered into on 1.8.2001 between the Liguria region and the University of Genoa for the management of the regional protected area 'Hanbury Botanical Gardens'.
