Information on the State Examination – Second Session 2026

Applications to sit the first session of the 2026 state examination must be submitted by 12:00 on 21 October 2026 . Please read the instructions set out in Notice D.D.G. No. 2379/2026 carefully.

The qualifying examinations for the professions of Biologist and Junior Biologist, first and second sessions of 2026, will consist of the tests set out in Presidential Decree No. 328/2001.

The state examinations for the professions of Biologist (second session 2026) will begin on 16 November 2026; the state examinations for the profession of Junior Biologist (2nd session 2026) will begin on 20 November 2026.

The schedule for further examination days will be determined in November 2026 by the Examination Board and will be published on the website: https://distav.unige.it/bandi

Each candidate is assigned a registration number; this number may be used for certain stages of the selection process and/or the publication of examination results.

Candidates and candidates already in possession of UniGePass credentials may submit an application using the link https://servizionline.unige.en/web-esterni2/en/#/esamedistato and clicking on "Access the application page"

Candidates and candidates who have never held UniGePass credentials before using the procedure at the above link must create a user by using the link https://servizionline.unige.it/web-esterni2/it/#/registrazioneutente and clicking on "Proceed"
