UniGePRINT

UniGePRINT is a university-wide printing service that allows staff and the entire student community to print, copy, scan and fax.  
If you are actively enrolled in UniGe degree courses, each year you are entitled to an initial credit of 15€.  
To recharge your credit use the UniGeShop website.

University Sports Centre

The CUS Genova is an amateur sports association whose aim is the practice, dissemination and enhancement of physical education and university sports activities.  
At CUS you can practice various sports activities by attending courses or in free practice.

University Canteens

The entire UniGe student community can access the university canteens, managed by ALISEO, by presenting the university card. To find out more, please read the provisions for the catering service.

Home food

The Home food are cosy university spaces, dedicated to those who want a convivial space where they can eat together and warm up the meal they brought from home or bought outside. They are equipped with tables, microwave ovens and wifi network and, in some cases, also have vending machines for drinks and snacks.

Access is free and permitted to the entire UniGe student community.

Ateneo+ badge

With your Ateneo+ badge, you can identify yourself and take advantage of many UniGe services:

  • library loans
  • UniGePRINT

Thanks to the collaboration with Banca Popolare di Sondrio, you can request and activate Carta Ateneo+ UniGe, a prepaid MasterCard credit card with no issuing or maintenance fees, nor top-up costs. Afterwards you will be allowed to replace the badge with the Ateneo+ smart card.

You will receive the badge directly at home, if you have provided an address in Italy, otherwise you will receive an email notifying you when it will be ready and where to collect it.

UniGe helps you find a home

With alloggi.unige.it, UniGe helps you find a flat, room or bed. You will be able to consult rental offers, complete with description, pictures, information and read reviews written by previous tenants.

Counseling "Together"

The psychological counselling service "Together" helps you to find a listening ear and support in situations of personal distress.

Services for all

pagoPA

From 28 February 2021 all payments made by private individuals (citizens and businesses) to any Public Administration, including the University of Genoa, must mandatorily be made through pagoPA.

pagoPA is the system for electronic payments created by the Agenzia per l'Italia Digitale (AGID) and envisaged by the Codice dell'Amministrazione Digitale (Digital Administration Code) and Italian Decree Law 179/2012, which guarantees individuals and businesses the possibility of making electronic payments to the PA in a secure, reliable, simple way and with total transparency in commission costs.

Payments to the University:

  • to pay university fees go to the page dedicated to the Online payment
  • to search for a payment notice or to make a spontaneous payment go to the Payment Portal

Circolo Universitario Genovese

The CUG organises sports and recreational activities open to all. Visit the dedicated page to find out all the activities you can take part in and how to sign up.

Carta Ateneo+

Thanks to the collaboration with Banca Popolare di Sondrio, all UniGe can request and activate Carta Ateneo+ UniGe, a prepaid MasterCard credit card with no issuing or maintenance fees, nor reloading costs.

The card has a personal IBAN code for receiving credit transfers and can be used free of charge for payments online and in shops around the world.

UniGePASS

The University of Genoa provides each student with UniGePASS (username and password) to access the University's IT services.

Microsoft Campus Agreement

The University of Genoa offers all students and staff the possibility to use Microsoft software through the Microsoft Campus Agreement licence. Use your UniGePASS credentials and get access to the services.

Services include:

  • Word
  • Excel
  • PowerPoint
  • Outlook
  • OneNote
  • Teams
  • 5 TB of OneDrive storage

You can install 5 copies of Office 365 Education on PCs and 5 more on tablets and smartphones.

Microsoft Education 

Students, teachers and administrative staff can access Microsoft Education licences, the new name for Microsoft Imagine, and download many of Microsoft's software.

To log in:

  1. Visit the page of Cedia where you will find just a few brief directions. Click at the bottom on To access the service click here
  2. You will be directed to the page of Microsoft Azure. In the top left-hand corner click on Sign in using the credentials you used to sign up for the Office365 service
  3. Once you have signed in, in the top right-hand corner select portal; you will then be taken to a Microsoft Azure page: in the field at the top for the search, enter education
  4. You are now on the page from which you can download software.

GenuaWiFi and eduroam

The University of Genoa has the GenuaWiFi and eduroam wireless networks, which you can access with your UniGePASS credentials, to surf the Internet and use online services.   
There are more than 600 active access points located in all the educational sites.

The eduroam network is a service provided by the Education Roaming Federation, of which the University of Genoa is a member. Thanks to eduroam you will be able to use your UniGePASS credentials also in many other universities and research institutes in Italy and abroad.

MyUniGe App

MyUniGe is the official UniGe application that allows you to have all the information regarding the organisation of lessons and the availability of classrooms at your fingertips.

With MyUniGe you can have on your device:

  • the configuration of the degree course, year and educational pathway to which it belongs and the relative subjects to be monitored
  • the detailed description of the lessons both by week and by entire teaching cycle
  • the description of the lessons with references to the lecturers
  • the availability of classrooms in real time
  • the receipt of notices and communications via push

It is available in Italian, English and Spanish.
