UniGePRINT

UniGePRINT is a university-wide printing service that allows staff and all students to print, copy, scan and fax.

To top up your credit, use the UniGeShop website.

If you are a student enrolled in UniGe degree programs, you are entitled to an initial credit of €15 each year.

University Sports Center

CUS Genova is an amateur sports association that aims to practice, disseminate and enhance physical education and university sports activities. At CUS you can practice various sports activities by attending classes or in free practice.

University canteens

All students enrolled at the University of Genoa can access the university cafeterias, operated by ALISEO. To access the service, you need to present your university ID card. Read more about the provisions for the food service.

Home food

Home foods are cozy university spaces dedicated to students who want a convivial space where they can eat together and heat up the meal they brought from home or bought outside.

They are equipped with tables, microwave ovens and wi-fi network.
In some cases they also have vending machines for drinks and snacks.

Access is free and allowed to all UniGe students.

Samsung student agreement

If you are a UniGe student, you can take advantage of special offers and promotions when purchasing Samsung products. Read the agreement and follow the instructions to access the Samsung store website and complete your purchases.

Ateneo+ Badge 

With your Ateneo+ badge you can identify yourself and take advantage of many UniGe services:

  • library loans
  • university canteens
  • UniGePRINT

Thanks to a partnership with Banca Popolare di Sondrio, you can apply for and activate Carta Ateneo+ UniGe, a prepaid MasterCard credit card with no issuance and maintenance fees or reloading costs. You will then be allowed to replace your badge with the Ateneo+ smart card.

You will receive an email notifying you when the badge is ready and where to pick it up.

Counseling "Insieme"

The psychological counseling service "Insieme" helps you find listening and support with respect to situations of personal distress.

Services for everybody

pagoPA

As of February 28, 2021, all payments made by private entities (citizens and businesses) to any Public Administration (PA), including the University of Genoa, must be made through pagoPA.

CUG organizes sports and recreational activities open to everyone. Visit the dedicated page to find out all the activities you can participate in and how to sign up.

Ateneo+ Badge 

Thanks to a partnership with Banca Popolare di Sondrio, all UniGe can apply for and activate Carta Ateneo+ UniGe, a prepaid MasterCard credit card with no issuance and maintenance fees or reloading costs.

The card has a personal IBAN code to receive credit transfers and can be used free of charge for payments online and in stores around the world.

ICT Facilities

UniGePASS

The University of Genoa provides each student with UniGePASS credentials (username and related password) to access the University's IT services.

Microsoft Campus Agreement

The University of Genoa offers all students and staff the opportunity to use Microsoft software through the Microsoft Campus Agreement license. Use your UniGePASS credentials and gain access to services.

Services include:

  • Word
  • Excel
  • PowerPoint
  • Outlook
  • OneNote
  • Teams
  • 5 TB of OneDrive storage space.

You will be able to install 5 copies of Office 365 Education on Pc and another 5 on tablets and smartphones.

Microsoft Education 

Students, faculty and administrative technical staff can access Microsoft Education licenses and download many of Microsoft's softwares.

To access:

  1. Visit the Cedia page where you will find just a few brief directions. Click at the bottom on To access the service click here
  2. You will be directed to the Microsoft Azure page. At the top left click on Sign in using the credentials you used to register for the Office365 service.
  3. Once you have signed in, at the top right select portal; you will then access a Microsoft Azure page: in the top field for search, enter education

You are now on the page from which you can download software.

GenuaWiFi and eduroam

The University of Genoa provides you with the GenuaWiFi and eduroam wireless networks, which you can access using your UniGePASS credentials. 
There are more than 600 active access points located throughout the educational sites.

The eduroam network is a service provided by the Education Roaming Federation, of which the University of Genoa is a member. Thanks to eduroam you can also use your UniGePASS credentials in many other universities and research institutions in Italy and abroad.

MyUniGe App

MyUniGe is the official UniGe application that allows you to have all the information related to class organization and classroom availability at your fingertips.

With MyUniGe you can have on your device:

  • the detailed description of the lectures both by week and by entire teaching cycle
  • the description of the lectures with references to the lecturers
  • the availability of classrooms in real time
  • the receipt of alerts and communications via push notifications

It is available in Italian, English and Spanish.
