Subscriptions are now open for the Casa del Pensiero seminars in Santa Margherita Ligure (Villa Durazzo). The project, now in its fourth edition, is aimed at the university student community and includes three seminars of three days each with prestigious lecturers with whom to think, dialogue and reflect on different topics.

Programme

• 21, 22 and 23 March 2025 - "We women of Tehran" with Farian Sabahi, Iranian writer, journalist and lecturer at the University of Insubria;
• 28, 29 and 30 March 2025 ;- "In the restaurant as in the theatre. How to improve contemporary catering" with Fausto Arrighi, historic director of the Michelin Italia guide;

• 11, 12 and 13 April 2025 - "The changing workplace in contemporary Italy" with Marco Doria, UniGe lecturer in economic history and former mayor of Genoa - "How a historical text can become dramaturgy" with Pino Petruzzelli, lecturer in playwriting at the Accademia Nazionale d'Arte Drammatica "S. D'Amico" Roma.

Who can participate?

10 UniGe students, from different departments, for each of the 3 seminars, for a total of 30 participants (each can participate in one seminar).

How does it work?

Each seminar lasts 25 hours, including lunches, and is worth 1 CFU. On the first two days of each seminar, Friday and Saturday, participants engage in dialogue with the lecturers and each other on the proposed topic. The resulting thoughts are put on paper and then read and shared on Sunday afternoon during an event open to the public, led by the lecturers and Pino Petruzzelli.

The seminars are totally free, including lunch.

Where do the seminars take place?

The seminars are held in the halls of Villa San Giacomo and in the park of Villa Durazzo in Santa Margherita Ligure (GE).
