Eight months after the discovery of the wreck of the Endurance (March 2022) and on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Sir Ernest Shackleton's death, Palazzo Ducale in Genoa is hosting the "Fortitudo" exhibition featuring works by painter Paola Folicaldi Suh inspired by the Endurance expedition.

The exhibition is enriched by objects, documents and artifacts, belonging to the University of Genoa and the National Museum of Antarctica - Genoa branch, related to the exploration of the Antarctic continent and scientific research on climate change.
