MRF2021

Maker Faire Rome - The European Edition, Europe's largest innovation event, returns from October 8-10, 2021 with a hybrid formula, in presence and virtual.

Organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Rome through its special company Innova Camera, the event, now in its ninth edition, addresses all the key components of innovation: from digital manufacturing to the Internet of Things, from robotics to artificial intelligence, from circular economy to agritech, passing through biohacking and aerospace.

Through the "Call for Universities and Research Institutes 2021", Maker Faire Rome intends to give prominence to the best technological and innovative projects carried out by Italian and foreign public universities and research institutes.

This year the selected projects will have a space (physical or virtual) entirely free of charge within #MFR2021.

There are four possible ways to participate

  • exhibition of the project
  • organization of talks with presentations on topics related to the themes of the event
  • realization of workshops with demonstrations of practical activities on topics related to the themes of the event
  • public exhibitions with creative, technological, robotic or musical performances. The exhibitions can also take place in the form of webinars.

Deadline for submission of applications: July 15, 2021.
