The agreement is subject to stamp duty (€16) pursuant to Article 2(1) of Presidential Decree No. 642/72, payable by the host organisation. Any exemption must be specified in the appropriate field.
The digitally signed agreement is in a single copy.
 
STEPS TO FOLLOW:
 
1. Lombardy Region Agreement Template

fill in the highlighted sections (ensuring you remove the highlighting afterwards), convert it to PDF and apply your digital signature.
 
2. Pay the stamp duty of €16 using one of the following methods (you must select and complete the relevant section within the agreement):
-    by purchasing an electronic stamp
-    by making a virtual payment (if authorised)

If the stamp duty is paid using a stamp, you must enter the 14-digit code, which can be found on the electronic stamp itself, on the document.
The stamp used must be retained until the expiry of the three-year limitation period provided for assessment by the tax authorities (Article 37 of Presidential Decree No. 642 of 1972).
 
3. Send the digitally signed document to the email address convenzioni.tirocini@unige.it
 
4. Once the necessary checks have been carried out, the Internships Department submits the document to the Rector for signature
 
5. The Internships Department returns the duly signed document to the company.
 
Once the agreement has been signed and the intern selected, the relevant training programme must be drawn up, containing all the information regarding the internship.

To draw up the training programme, you must contact the internship coordinator for the student’s relevant degree programme.

Please note: To activate extracurricular work placements, the complete documentation must be submitted to the Work Placements Office at least 10 working days in advance of the start date indicated in the documentation itself.
