The call for applications has been published for 297 curricular traineeships at the following types of MAECI Offices: Embassies, Permanent Representations to the OO.II., Consulates, Delegations and Italian Cultural Institutes (IICs).

Internship period: 16 September - 16 December 2024

Please note:some internships may only be carried out remotely. The mode of conduct is indicated in a specific column of the list of offers and is also indicated in the code of each offer (to be inserted in the application), with the words "PRESENCE" or "DISTANCE". If the traineeship is carried out in flexible distance mode, no reimbursement of expenses will be granted for the months concerned.
The traineeship offer and its modalities may be subject to change during and after the publication of the call for applications.

Applicants

Please read carefully the II Call for Applications 2024 and check whether you meet the requirements for participation.

Attention - admitted courses of study

Bearing in mind that the call for applications indicates that at least 3 CFUs must be recognised for the activity carried out, students who, despite meeting the requirements set out in the call for applications, are enrolled in Master's or single-cycle Master's degree courses that do not envisage recognition of the CFUs envisaged in the call for applications cannot apply. See DR 4391 del 18.09.2018

Application procedures and deadline

Applicants may submit their applications exclusively online in accordance with the deadlines and procedures set out in the Fondazione CRUI

Please read and follow carefully the section "Application Procedures" in the Call for Applications.

Student status must be possessed at the time of application and maintained for the entire duration of the placement, under penalty of exclusion.

Applications with errors/omissions will be excluded. Please remember that once an application has been submitted, it is no longer editable.

Expiry date for submission of application: 17.00 on 14.06.2024

English language knowledge

The candidate will be deemed to have adequate knowledge ofEnglish at level B2 of the CEFR if:

  • he/she has obtained one of the certifications issued by an institution recognised by the MUR (https://www.miur.gov.en/enti-certificatori-lingue-straniere)
  • is in possession of the English Language Certificate issued by the Language Centre of the University of Genoa, where a level of knowledge equal to or higher than B2 is declared
  • is a student at the University of Genoa and has taken an English language exam the passing of which demonstrates a level of proficiency equal to or higher than B2

Candidates who do not meet any of the conditions listed above must demonstrate the required language proficiency by passing an appropriate test. The test will take place on day June 17, at 12.30, in the CLAT room - Albergo dei Poveri.  Candidates who must take the test will be notified by email to the address indicated on their application. Not appearing for the test will be considered as renouncing the application to the Programme, whatever the cause Applicants who demonstrate a lower level of English language proficiency than required through the test will not be admitted to the next selection phase.

Attention:Candidates who are required to take the English language proficiency test must include the following information in their online application:

  • Certification level (English) B2

Verification of participation requirements

The University of Genoa must verify the possession of the participation requirements declared by the candidates. Applications that do not meet all the requirements of the call for applications and DR 4391 of 18.09.2018 will not be validated and, therefore, admitted to the final selection phase.

Duration of the internship

The internship has a duration of 3 months extendable by 1.

Financial support (not provided for internships carried out remotely)

The internship provides:

  1. a monthly lump-sum reimbursement of expenses incurred, in the amount as follows:

    • €700 with ISEE ≤ 13.000
    • € 630 with 13,000 < ISEE ≤ 21,000
    • € 560 with 21,000 < ISEE ≤ 26,000
    • € 490 with 26,000 < ISEE ≤ 30,000
    • € 450 with 30,000 < ISEE ≤ 40,000
    • € 420 with 40.000 < ISEE

    The contribution will be paid in two instalments, the first, in an amount equal to 50% of the total amount envisaged for a 3-month traineeship, following the start of the traineeship; the second, in the balance, following the conclusion of the traineeship. In the event of interruption of the placement, the student is in any case entitled to reimbursement of expenses as set out under 'Reimbursement of expenses', for the period in which the placement is actually carried out. Recognition of the CFUs is commensurate with the number of days the traineeship was actually carried out.

  2. The University of Genoa has also decided to provide an additional lump-sum contribution, in favour of University of Genoa students who have regularly carried out the traineeship and whose ISEE/ISEEU value does not exceed € 65.000, of an amount as follows:
    • € 1,500 with ISEE ≤ € 10,000
    • € 1,000 with 10,000 < ISEE ≤ 25,000
    • €   800 with 25,000 < ISEE ≤ 50.000
    • €   600 with 50,000 < ISEE ≤ 65,000
