The Civil Agricultural Service is a programme that aims to involve young people in the promotion and development of agriculture, particularly social agriculture. This programme makes use of the Universal Civil Service and is the result of an agreement between the Department of Youth Policy and the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry (MASAF).The main objective is to offer young people opportunities for growth and training, developing their civic sense, democratic values and active citizenship skills, with a specific focus on the acquisition of skills in the agricultural and agri-food sector. The programme also intends to stimulate technological innovation in the sector and to enhance rural culture, especially in the country's inland areas.The University of Genoa is offering this course this year in partnership with the social cooperative 'Bottega Solidale'.
