MSCA IF @UniGe 2020

UniGe invites talented researchers to apply for the MSCA Individual fellowship call for proposal 2020 and to choose UniGe as Host Institution in order to widen and deepen their skills.
MSCA IF provides researchers with a unique opportunity to work 2 or 3 years on a research project in a prestigious Host Institution abroad under the supervision of a high profile scientist.

The University of Genoa is a teaching and research institution organized in 22 departments within 5 schools, 13 interuniversity research centres and 2 centers of excellence, covering a wide range of disciplines.

UniGe Individual Fellowship Masterclass

Candidate researcher that will be selected by the supervisor to write jointly proposal for the MSCA IF call for proposals will have the opportunity to attend a 2-days online course on how to write a successful proposal that will take place on June 2020 and a prescreening day on 23rd July 2020 with the participation of National Contact Point, a REA Officer and other experts.
Candidates and their supervisors will be supported by the European Research Office of UniGe in preparing their project proposal.

Day 1 - 10th June 2020, 9.00 – 16.00
How to submit a successful proposal
Marco Ferraro, APRE, National Contact point MSCA and ERC in Horizon 2020 will show how to write a successful proposal. Stefano D’Orilia from Research Executive Agency, Call Coordinator Individual Fellowships and Luciano Zuccarello, IF evaluator from Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia, Pisa, will participate to the event.

For those who wish, it will be possible to request a dedicated appointment with the European Research Office to ask questions and briefly discuss the project proposal.

Day 3 – 23rd July 2020
Pre- screening day
The National Contact Point meets candidate fellows and reads their draft proposals in order to give tips and useful information for the development of a project with the best chance of success.
