The Creation of Public ValueThe Athenaeum, in coherence with national documents, by the creation of public value intends the improvement of the level of well-being of the recipients of policies and services.In order to identify its own contribution to the creation of this value, the University distinguishes further concepts:Sectoral ValueThis is the specific impact generated by the University's policies on the level of sectoral wellbeing of the stakeholders. The sectors identified by the University correspond to the 3 mission areas (Education and Student Services, Research, Third Mission).It is measured by the degree of achievement of the Strategic and operational objectives.Public Value in the narrower senseThis is the average impact generated by the University's policies on the overall level of wellbeing (multidimensional, i.e. both economic, social and environmental) of stakeholders and other subjects. This Public Value represents the impact of the impacts, i.e. the overall additional well-being.It is measured by the degree to which the Public Value Goals have been achieved.Public Value in the broadest senseIt is the average impact generated by the University's policies on the overall level of wellbeing of stakeholders and others, achieved by governing performance, protecting against related risks, and protecting the health of the institution's resources.It is measured by correlating the degree of achievement of the Public Value Objectives with those of executive, corruption prevention, organisation and human capital, taking into account the use of resources.Public Value AcknowledgedThis is the impact of the University's policies on the overall level of wellbeing acknowledged by external stakeholders.This is measured by means of special questionnaires..
