To clarify our specific contribution, we distinguish between several related concepts:Sectoral ValueThis refers to the direct impact of the University's policies on the well-being of stakeholders within our three core mission areas: Education and Student Services, Research, and Third Mission.Measurement: Assessed by the degree of achievement of our Strategic and Operational Objectives. Public Value (Narrow Definition)This represents the average impact of the University's policies on the overall well-being (economic, social, and environmental) of our stakeholders. It measures the cumulative, additional well-being generated by our activities.Measurement: Assessed by the degree of achievement of our Public Value Objectives. Public Value(Broad Definition)This is the most comprehensive measure, assessing the overall impact on stakeholder well-being by also considering effective governance, risk management, and the sustainable use of institutional resources.Measurement: Assessed by correlating the achievement of Public Value Objectives with performance in executive management, anti-corruption measures, and human capital development.
