Information on the State Examination – Second Session 2026

Applications to sit the State Examination (Second Session 2026) must be submitted by 12:00 on 21 October 2026. Please read the instructions set out in Notice D.D.G. No. 2379/2026 carefully.

Pursuant to Article 1, points 2 and 3 of Ministerial Decree No. 568/2022, the qualifying examination for the profession of Dentist consists of a single oral examination designed to assess the acquisition of the competences, knowledge and skills required by the legislation governing the professional profile of a dentist. The subject of the examination, and of the assessment, will be the discussion of two multidisciplinary clinical cases and the corresponding treatment plan.

The State Examination for Dentists – Session II 2026 – will commence on 16 November 2026; the timetable for the examination sessions, as well as any further information for candidates, will be published in November 2026 on the webpage https://disc.unige.it/State_Exams_Dentistry

Each candidate is assigned a registration number; this number may be used for certain stages of the examination process, such as summoning candidates and/or publishing the results of the examination papers.

Candidates and candidates who have never held UniGePass credentials before using the procedure at the above link must create a user by using the link https://servizionline.unige.it/web-esterni2/it/#/registrazioneutente and clicking on "Proceed"
