The bibliographic and photographic exhibition “Reading Jazz: Miles Black and Whitean exhibition conceived to mark the centenary of the birth of Miles Davis, curated by the UniGe Library System, with the invaluable collaboration of Guido Festinese, journalist, jazz historian and UniGeSenior lecturer.&

The heart of the exhibition is a selection of books from the University of Genoa’s jazz collection, drawn from some of the University’s most important libraries — the Humanities Library, the Social Sciences Library, the Polytechnic Library, and the Imperia and Savona Campuses.

In addition to the volumes on display, the exhibition offers the opportunity to visit the new multimedia gallery at the Albergo dei Poveri, brought to life by images from national and international photographic and documentary archives, in a visually striking exhibition.
