What is meant by the term architectural and sensory barriers?

  • physical obstacles that are a source of discomfort for the mobility of every person, particularly those who, for whatever cause, have a reduced or impeded motor capacity on a permanent or temporary basis;
  • obstacles that limit or prevent anyone from the comfortable and safe use of spaces, equipment, or components;
  • lack of devices and signs that allow orientation and recognisability of places and sources of danger for anyone, in particular for the visually impaired and the hearing impaired.

Report an architectural-sensory barrier!
