The BIG4LIFE project will work on eight green roofs and green facades of buildings located in Lleida and Barcelona applying the concept of xeriscaping, the optimization of water use. It will consider the environmental, social and economic benefits of building-integrated green systems in order to determine their cost-effectiveness.

The project has three years to co-design and implement the strategic maintenance, monitoring, and impact assessment of these systems.
