The Department of Political Science and International - DiSPI of the University of Genoa is hosting the 36th Conference of SISP - Italian Society of Political Science.

The event - with free participation - brings together the national community of political scientists and sees the presence, more and more substantial each year, of international scholars. The proceedings are organized into panels thematic and plenary sessions.

The opening plenary session of the conference will feature talks by:

• Federico Delfino, rector of the University of Genoa
• Daniela Preda, director of the Department of Political and International Sciences
• Giampiero Cama, coordinator of the SISP 2023 organizing committee
• Luca Verzichelli, SISP president

followed by the keynote speech "A Loss of purpose? Reflection on the evolution of Political Science" by Stathis Kalyvas, University of Oxford, and discussion with Simona Piattoni, University of Trento.
