The study by a team of researchers from the IRCCS Ospedale Policlinico San Martino in Genoa and from the Department of Experimental Medicine, University of Genoa, led by Paolo Malatesta with major contributions from Davide Ceresa, paving the way for a greater understanding of brain tumors. 

The results obtained are of such significance that they have just been published in Cancer Cell, one of the most important journals in the field.
