Taking a cue from his recent participation in the 38th Italian Expedition to Antarctica, Emanuele Magi, UniGe professor of Environmental Analytical Chemistry and dean of the School of Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences, talks about the goals of scientific research, the fascination of such an extreme environment, and the difficulties encountered in working at -50 °C.

With him, Paola Rivaro, UniGe lecturer in Chemical Oceanography, and Matteo Cecchetto, biologist at the National Antarctic Museum-Genoa office.
