Silvia Trevisiol premio Maglio 2023

Silvia Trevisiol, a UniGe graduate in "Sciences and techniques of preventive and adapted motor activity," received the prestigious Antonio Maglio graduation prize at a ceremony held in Rome at the INAIL Palace for discussing her thesis "Motor disability and sport: self-perception of one's abilities."

The award is named after Antonio Maglio (1912-1988), considered the "father" of sports therapy and the pioneer of rehabilitation therapies. Every year, the Italian Paralympic Committee (CIP), as part of the activities approved by INAIL to promote and spread the practice of sports for people with work-related disabilities, holds a call for entries bearing his name to award dissertations on the beneficial effects of sports as a tool for social inclusion and integration for the recovery of the mental and physical well-being of people with disabilities.
