The results of the Research Quality Assessment are now available (VQR) 2020–2024, the periodic exercise coordinated by ANVUR which analyses the quality of research carried out by Italian universities and research bodies and which contributes to the determination of the bonus allocation from the Ordinary Funding Fund.

For the University of Genoa, the 2020–2024 VQR highlights particularly positive results in the field of knowledge transfer, an area in which the University ranks second among Italy’s major universities.

The evaluation examines research outputs, competitive projects, infrastructure and case studies relating to knowledge transfer activities and societal impact, providing a detailed snapshot of the activities carried out by universities over the five-year period 2020–2024.
