UniGe's research team took part in the 2025 edition of the Genoa Blue Festival, the event dedicated to sustainability and innovation in the maritime economy. As part of the event, three projects from the University of Genoa were presented on crucial topics for the ecological and digital transition.

    .
  • EnerCmed is an Interreg-EuroMED project led by the DIME team and focuses on the green transition by integrating the concepts of Renewable Energy Communities/Self-Consumption Schemes with Nature-Based Solutions in the backwater areas of Mediterranean cities
  • .
  • CLASTER is an Interreg Maritime-IT FR-Maritime project led by the DIME team and aims at capitalising on previous projects on noise mitigation in port and periport areas
  • H2MOVE is an Interreg Maritime-IT FR-Maritime project in which Unige is a partner and addresses the environmental challenges of port areas by proposing solutions for resilient and sustainable mobility. The objective is to improve territorial continuity while reducing environmental impacts through the use of green hydrogen (H2) as a clean energy source
  • .

During the festival, the team made up of Davide Borelli, Augusto Bocanegra and Elisa Fracchia presented the achievements, future prospects and the university's role in building a more innovative, green and resilient blue economy. Participation in the Blue Festival provided an important opportunity for dialogue with citizens, stakeholders and institutions, strengthening the link between scientific research and the territory.
