The University of Genoa has renewed the Academy for Healthcare Management (AMAS) until 30 June 2032, confirming its role within the university’s educational provision dedicated to healthcare and social care management.

The renewal ensures the continuity of advanced training activities aimed at professionals within the healthcare system, who are called upon to work in a context that is constantly evolving in organisational and managerial terms.

The activities of AMAS is aimed at training general managers, administrative directors, healthcare and social-healthcare directors, directors of complex healthcare units, executives of healthcare service organisations and bodies, and all those involved in the management and organisation of healthcare services. The aim is to develop managerial skills capable of meeting the challenges of a sector that is strategic for the country.

The decree also provides for the extension, until 31 October 2026, of the term of office of the Centre’s president, Giancarlo Icardi, and the members of the Scientific Committee Marcello Montefiori and Stefano Poli.
