The University of Genoa is ranked 502nd in the world in the QS World University Rankings 2027, climbing 28 places compared with the previous edition and confirming its position amongst Italy’s leading universities.

This result is accompanied by improvements across various indicators, including academic reputation, research impact and sustainability, reflecting the work carried out by the University in its core areas of activity: teaching, research and its social mission.

In a ranking that assesses over 1,500 universities across 106 higher education systems, UniGe is ranked 16th in Italy.
