07/02/2025 As of 10 February 2025, the University of Genoa Listening Point, which was approved by the University bodies on 22 November 2024, will become active.What is it? . The Listening Point supports and consolidates the network of bodies aimed at protecting the university community and carrying out actions in favour of well-being. The task of the listening point is, specifically, to combat all forms of discrimination, harassment, abuse or gender-based violence in the university environment.To whom is it addressed?The Listening Point is aimed at the entire community of the University of Genoa: students, students, technical-administrative and library staff, lecturers, researchers and researchers.What does it do?Offers individual interviews, within a protected space, where one can find a listening ear, support and information following episodes of violence suffered, acted upon or witnessed; provides a first orientation and basic information on legal aspects and on the most appropriate ways of contacting the competent authorities and the institutional bodies of the University, as well as the network of territorial services (Anti-Violence Centres, Centres for abusive men)..
