On 23 September 2026, in the Aula Magna at Balbi 2, Paolo Barabino, a student on the three-year degree programme in Public Administration and Political Science, the “Giuseppe Profiti” Scholarship.

During the ceremony, the Vice-Chancellor Federico Delfino recalled the professional career of Giuseppe Profiti, an expert in administrative law and public finance, who held senior management positions in the healthcare sectors of Liguria and at national level, including roles at the Bambino Gesù Paediatric Hospital in Rome and Azienda Zero in the Calabria Region.

The selection committee outlined the reasons for the award and thanked Profiti’s family members, who were present at the ceremony, for establishing the award in his memory.

Paolo Barabino, who received the award for his academic achievements, emphasised that Giuseppe Profiti will be a source of inspiration for his future career.
