Gabriella Garbarino, a lecturer in Industrial and Technological Chemistry at the University of Genoa (UniGe) in the Department of Civil, Chemical and Environmental Engineering – DICCA, has received the Gian Paolo Chiusoli Medal, awarded by the Italian Chemical Society for scientific contributions of particular significance in the field of catalysis.

The award recognises her research in chemical process engineering and catalysis, with a particular focus on the utilisation of CO₂, renewable resources and waste materials, within the context of the energy transition and industrial sustainability.
