To mark the 80th anniversary of its foundation, the Institute of International Economics is organising a keynote lecture by Ignazio Visco, former Governor of the Bank of Italy, entitled ‘The challenges facing the global economy: instability, innovation and sustainability’.

The event is dedicated to the memory of Orlando D’Alauro, one of the founders of the Institute and the journal of the same name, who served as its scientific director for many years.
