An afternoon dedicated to Luigi Surdich

The University of Genoa commemorates Luigi Surdich with a keynote lecture, a degree award and an exhibition.

This initiative by the Department of Italian, Romance, Classical Studies, Arts and Performing Arts (DIRAAS) launches the annual ‘Luigi Surdich Lecture’ series with a talk by Stefano Carrai entitled ‘Notes on Montale and Rilke’. This will be followed by the presentation of the degree award dedicated to the professor and the opening of the exhibition “The Discerning Reader”, featuring the scholar’s books and personal documents.

The event is open to the general public.
The exhibition will be open until 13 November in the Library of the School of Humanities.
