With the book 'Le emissioni segrete' (Il Mulino), Giovanna Sissa won the National Prize for Popular Science 2025 Giancarlo Dosi for the area 'Engineering and Architecture'.

Giovanna Sissa is an adjunct lecturer at the University of Genoa for the PhD programme Science and technology for electronic and telecommunication engineering (STIET) with the course "Interdisciplinary dimension of the environmental impact of ICT".
