The Department of Economics – DIEC at the University of Genoa hosted the international workshop “Trust and Artificial Intelligence”, focusing on the role of trust in the use of artificial intelligence and its implications for individuals and organisations.

Organised by Guido Möllering, Lara Penco and Andrea Ciacci, the event brought together academics from Italian and European universities and representatives from the professional world to explore topics such as decision-making autonomy, accountability, relationships of trust and changes in the world of work.

The two-day event also involved students from the Master’s degree programme in Management, offering an opportunity for direct dialogue between scientific research and the applications of AI in organisations.
