The Italian Institute of Bioethics, in collaboration with the Municipality of Rapallo, presents the IXth edition of the Festival of Bioethics. With the contribution of the Chamber of Commerce of Genoa and the patronage of the University of Genoa, the CNB - National Committee for Bioethics, the IIT - Italian Institute of Technology and the International Chair of Bioethics, the event focuses this year on the theme of "Fraternity: man, environment, animals".

The Festival hosts a wide audience of bioethicists, members of the CNB, university professors from different disciplines and researchers from IIT for two days of meetings, dialogues and in-depth studies exploring fraternity from multiple perspectives: ethical, social, political, anthropological, philosophical and religious. In keeping with tradition, the Festival embraces a broad vision ranging from the human to the environmental to the animal, offering a space for open and inclusive discussion.

The Bioethics Festival 2025 Prize is awarded to Mauro Ceruti, Professor Emeritus of Logic and Philosophy of Science and Director of the Complex Systems Research Centre at IULM.
