The week from 16 to 22 September 2025 is the European Mobility Week, which this year adopts the theme 'Mobility for All'.

The University of Genoa has been committed for years to supporting a sustainable mobility choice for its community through various initiatives carried out also in cooperation with local authorities and in a continuous comparison with other universities. The planning of the various activities needed to promote a change in mobility choices is carried out thanks to the University Mobility Manager Ilaria Delponte and the adoption of a Home-University Travel Plan (PSCU), which is updated periodically and includes various actions to discourage the use of private cars in favour of the local and regional public transport, support for other forms of soft mobility including cyclability, and support for shared mobility.

The promotion of soft mobility at the university is constantly improving, also thanks to UniGe's participation in specific projects such as PRINCE - PRemialities and INcentives for modal change or Pedalling University.
